Being framed for crimes of treason against the fairy queen, finches wings were forcefully removed before he was banished to the darker corners of the fey realm....

With his magic failing him, and weakened from his wings being torn away, he took shelter with in a giant willow tree....

As he laid amongst the roots, with his last embers of energy he felt a warm embrace before blacking out...

Within the depths of his unconscious mind, Finch stood alone, before him was the very same willow tree, glowing with a warm golden light...

He wanted to embrace the light, thinking it was his time to fade from existence.. but it was not...

Slowly the roots of the tree coiled around him, cocooning him in a protective shell, one root stretched towards him, as it touched his forehead, energy shot through him...

Then everything faded...

He woke up in the early hours back to full strength, not only that but his wings have regrowns with tints of amber and gold, and with in his hand was an intricate blade, one that shone with the same energy as the willow did in his dream...

He stood before the willow again in silence, in his mind thanking for the opportunity to continue life as he pledged his services to his patreon....
