DnD Character design of a reborn monk called Renata
A mysterious debilitating disease took the lives of many within the walls of the sanctum,

After each death, Each individual was appropriately berried with a death mask to help them find themselves in the afterlife

One did not get the luxury of eternal rest however

Having been resurrected through unfamiliar means, Renata gazed into a nearby mirror, staring back at her was her reflection, Pale and dead

She had none of her memories, but she knew something unnatural took the lives of everyone she knew in life, and it was her mission to fix it.

Donning her death mask, along with some tattered clothes and medical supplies,
Renata set out to discover who she was,

Why she was brought back

And what killed her

And during her journeys she will help those in need much like the monks who did all they can for the dying and dead.
